Artists, crafters sought for logging fest

RANGELEY — Saturday, July 28 marks the celebration of the 32nd Annual Rangeley Logging Festival and parade and some vendor spaces are still available. State and Federal dignitaries will be in the parade and the Rangeley Lakes Region Logging Museum will host the festival at the museum grounds at 221 Stratton Road just outside of Rangeley. read more

RANGELEY — The annual chicken barbeque at the Church of the Good Shepherd at 2614 Main Street will be held July 3, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Angus King, a genuinely independent option in congress

Last weekend, I traveled to the Maine Moose Lottery Festival in Rangeley and Oquossoc, as part of former-Governor Angus King’s campaign trail. What made it unique was that this event was in my community, and I looked forward to sharing my cause with my neighbors, while sharing this special area with the candidate.

‘Stars & Stripes’ kicks off Watermelon Series

RANGELEY — The Watermelon Series, an Outreach Program at the Church of the Good Shepherd announces its first concert of the summer season. The church has gathered a variety of artists it hopes will enrich the summer Rangeley experience.
