It’s about time . What the hell are they protecting I fish there in the spring and summer 8′ to 12′ fish big deal.. The sport shop in town has no business in the winter . Get real ice fishing not going to wipe them out matter of fact it might help. This fly only no bait BS is for one group. Each year if you have no snow 5 more local shops shut down give them what they need . Ice fishing can only help drill a hole and hope their there sure. What are they afraid of some little kid and his father catching one bigger than yours. Don’t worry Orvis wont shut down. Make it so all can have fun not just one group. Good luck to all shop owners.

We live in England, ands visited Rodney Richard in about 1993, at which time, we bought a carving from Mr Richard, that he was carving while we spoke. We were so impressed by his work, and wondered if he was still working, as we will be back in North America next year, and would like to try to meet up with him again. I have tried to find his website (if he has one) but so far have had no luck. If you could let me know his site, I would be much obliged.

We will be staying at Roberts Hideaway on Mooselokmeguntic Lake and need a boat ramp for a 20 ft. boat. Where is the best place to put our boat in the water? I am told that the water level may not be sufficient for us to put in there. Are there low water levels in the lake that we need to be aware of?
