Aziscohos Mountain Trail

AZISCOHOS MOUNTAIN TRAIL: This trail, located in Lincoln Plantation, offers some of the finest lake views in the state. Enter the trail on Route 16, 17.7 miles west of Rangeley and 100 yards south of the Magalloway Bridge at the foot of the Azicohos Dam. The ascent is easy through the woods on Firewarden’s Trail. There is an optional North slope descent. Road to summit is 1.75 miles. Elevation gain is 1700 feet to the summit at 3,186 feet. For more info. call the Rangeley Chamber at 207-864-5364.
