The holiday season is fast approaching! The Rangeley Rotary Club and The Rangeley Lakes Chamber of Commerce have banded together to co-sponsor the 2nd Annual Parade of Trees! If you did not attend this fun-filled event last year, we urge you not to miss it this season. Great food, interesting company, beautifully decorated trees and excitement surrounding the auction made for an unforgettable night! Several trees are donated for auction and one tree is raffled off. All proceeds will go to the Rotary and Chamber to continue their support of our region. This year we are requesting your help with this raffled tree. We are asking you to donate an ornament that best represents your business. It could be a replica of your storefront, a miniature of a product you sell, your logo or your creative interpretation. These ornaments will be placed on the tree along with decorations we feel complete the theme of “community.” Our hope is that this tree will find a special home with a lover of the Rangeley Lakes Region.
This year we are adding an additional element to this exciting event in the form of a silent auction. Our hope is to put together gift baskets with donations from several businesses in each one. In addition to the ornament we would appreciate a small item, gift certificate or gift to use in these baskets.
