By Ron Haines Special to the Irregular RANGELEY — If you saw a school bus headed out of Rangeley, driven by Monica Gordon, on that ice cold Saturday morning of Jan. 22 (the date of the big Snodeo event), you were not seeing a basketball team trip but the free bus sponsored by the Rangeley Lakes Region Logging Museum to the exhibition “Logging in Maine… Then and Now” at the Fryeburg Academy.

Rangeley girls qualify for post-season play

By Dan Fayen Special to the Irregular RANGELEY — The Rangeley Lakes Regional High School girls’ basketball team is going to states! The Lady Lakers (12-6), seeded fourth in the final regular season Heal standings, will face the Kents Hill Huskies in the quarterfinals of the Class D Tournament at the Augusta Civic Center on Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 10 a.m.
