WILTON – Three local police departments have applied for a state-administered grant aimed at holiday enforcement of operating under the influence laws, to fund checkpoints and additional patrols this season. Farmington, Wilton and Rangeley are participating in the State Bureau of Highway Safety’s Holiday OUI Enforcement program, which provides access to federal highway safety funding

TOWNSHIP D – The Rangeley Lakes Region Height of Land scenic overlook on the Route 17 portion of the Rangeley Lakes National Scenic Byway has reopened this weekend, the result of a public/private partnership which saw this scenic road reconstructed and the scenic overlook enhanced.
