Wilhelm Reich trust accepts donation from firefighter association

RANGELEY – The Wilhelm Reich Infant Trust is happy to announce it has received a donation of $100 from The Rangeley Fire Fighters Association to be used for the museum’s Children’s programs. The Wilhelm Reich Museum’s children’s programs serve our youngest participants from Day Care Centers in the area free of charge.

Annual event benefited three non-profit organizations this year

OQUOSSOC — Oquossoc Day’s dinner and dance (featuring the Cahoots Band) and raffle this summer was such a success that the committee members were able to give three equal donations of $600 to EcoVenture at the Heritage Trust, the Rangeley Fire Station and the new Outdoor Sporting Heritage Museum. read more

Ground breaking held for new Haley Pond Park

RANGELEY – Recently ground was broken for the new Haley Pond Park on the former site of the Rangeley Fire Department. This is the beginning of an all-out effort to rejuvenate the historic village of Rangeley, whose sesquecentennial was celebrated in 2005.
