RANGELEY — Sculptor David Barten of Conway, Mass., has donated five of his creations to the Rangeley Lakes Region Logging Museum. Two tool sculptures will be exhibited this summer, and three dioramas of Rangeley life will be shown in 2013. read more

Free hunter safety training offered

OQUOSSOC — The Rangeley Guides and Sportsman’s Association will be sponsoring a free fourday Hunter Safety Training program starting Monday, July 30, at 6 p.m. It will continue Tuesday, July 31, Monday, Aug.

Wendell Steward in Logging Hall of Fame

RANGELEY — As part of the Rangeley Lakes Region Logging Museum’s annual Logging Festival, Wendell Steward will be inducted into the Logger’s Hall of Fame Friday, July 27, during the evening program which begins at 7 p.m.
