By BJ Bangs Irregular Staff Writer WESTERN MOUNTAINS — Unprecedented high temperatures have called for some unprecedented actions with both Sugarloaf and Saddleback gearing up the snow guns, making snow earlier this week, with plans to extend the season through April.

Wilhelm Reich Museum receives grant from Sugarloaf Charitable Trust

RANGELEY – The Wilhelm Reich Infant Trust is happy to announce it has received a grant from Sugarloaf Region Charitable Trust of $300 to help cover fuel costs to heat The Wilhelm Reich Museum’s Conference Center where programs take place that serve our youngest participants from Day Care Centers in the area free of charge.

Bradley Snow, 16, of Oxford and Sven Bergeron, 20, of Oxford told Maine Warden Service game wardens this morning that they had taken multiple runs earlier in the day, and sometime between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. they decided to follow tracks made by another skier that led underneath an orange distinctive rope that marks trail boundaries
