RANGELEY — Joanne Chapman has served the Rangeley Region through the Rangeley Region Health Appointment Transportation program for more than seven years and will be leaving the position at the end of June. Caroline Bates-Hoffman will be taking over the position as of July 1.

MDIF&W staff recently was joined with associates from the BioDiversity Institute and the Maine Department of Transportation to band Peregrine falcon chicks and collect data from a popular nesting site along a Portland bridge. “It’s part of an ongoing monitoring program to keep track of individual birds,” said MDIF&W Wildlife Biologist Judy Camuso.
