Maine\u00a04-Wheeler Touring and Riding in Maine’s Rangeley Lakes Region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"ATV<\/a><\/p>\n

\n
The Rangeley Lakes Region offers 70 miles of organized ATV Trails open to the public for riding.\u00a0 This 70 miles of trail, now connects to 8 other towns that also have organized ATV Trails.\u00a0 The Atv Riding season starts Memorial Day Weekend, and closes on October 31st of each year.\u00a0 The Camp-2 Trail Riders Atv Club, which was established in 1994, and Rev-It-Up Sport Shop, maintain the 70 miles of Atv Trails in the Rangeley area.\u00a0 The trails are clearly marked with green and white Atv signs, and caution, arrow, bridge, stop ahead, and stop signs.\u00a0 These signs are put up to help people find their way around. The signs are provided to the club by the State of Maine, Department of Conservation.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

ATV MAPS:\u00a0 Are available of the area, with a cost of $3.00 each (price can change without notice) You may purchase maps at Rev-It-Up Sport Shop, Rangeley Chamber of Commerce, Lakeside Convenience, Boss Power Equipment<\/div>\n

ATV PARK&RIDE AREAS:\u00a0 Rev-It-Up Sport Shop, Public Parking Lot at the beginning of Depot Street in Town Rangeley, Boss Power Equipment<\/div>\n

MAIN STREET ACCESS:\u00a0 Our club received permission to access Main Street using our atvs\/side by sides.\u00a0 There are very strict rules to follow when using this Main Street Access.\u00a0 You can access Main Street when you come in via your atv by the town trail, and then,\u00a0Main Street access starts at the stop sign on Depot Street when you are facing Main Street, you would proceeed with a right hand turn, you ride with the flow of traffic, speed limit is 20mph, you CAN’T PARK ON MAIN STREET OR IN CAR PARKING SPOTS, you can patronize the business’ that have their own private parking, and each business has a sign that indicates this.\u00a0 There are many business’ that you can stop at, gift stores, restaurants, gas stations, convenient stores, ice cream stores,\u00a0bowling alley, hotels,\u00a0etc.\u00a0 There are many hotels, B&Bs on Main Street to stay at, to make it more convenient for the atv riders. You can ride right from your hotel room without having to trailer to a unloading zone.<\/div>\n

MOOSE LOOP TRAIL:\u00a0 170 plus miles incorporates 9 towns, it is the biggest loop that connects the most towns in the State of Maine.\u00a0 It is suggested you plan 2 days to do this trip and stay over night somewhere.\u00a0 Moose Loop maps are available for $4.00 each at Rev-It-Up Sport Shop and at the White Wolf Restaurant in Stratton.<\/div>\n

NORTH & SOUTH LOOP TRAILS:\u00a0 Nice 20 mile loop trails that are close to Rangeley, if you are not looking for a super long ride.\u00a0<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
QUILL HILL OVER LOOK TRAIL:\u00a0 A beautiful scenic overlook, that you should not miss while atv riding in Rangeley.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
CAMP-2 TRAIL:\u00a0 A very wooded trail, but so pretty, with Onion Valley look out, this is also a trail that you should not miss while in Rangeley.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
TOWN TRAIL:\u00a0 Depending on where you start from, this trail leads you in town Rangeley, where you can access many business’ using the Main Street Access.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
SWAMP DONKEY TRAIL:\u00a0 A rough, raw,\u00a0challenging trail, not made for two up riding and not for in-experienced people.<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
STRATTON TRAIL:\u00a0 A nice 28 mile ride one way of course, you can eat and get fuel in town Stratton before heading back to Rangeley<\/div>\n

EUSTIS TRAIL:\u00a0 A nice 45 mile ride one way of course, you can eat, get fuel, much wildlife.<\/div>\n
