New lake landing sites for hiking, picnicking offered

RANGELEY — As summer winds down and autumn approaches it’s a good time to remember that this is perhaps the very best time to enjoy a hike in the forest, a paddle on the lake, a picnic by the lakeshore or a leisurely scenic boat ride. RANGELEY — Friday, July 23, two volunteers and one engineer reached the top of the Kennebago Quad on Saddleback Mountain and installed an antenna and transmitter that in the very near future will carry the signal for broadcasting WRGY, the new community radio station in Rangeley. read more
